Who Should Attend?
Generally children from 7 – 11 years of age
What Will I Learn?
The course introduces young learners to essential first aid skills in a fun and engaging way
Key topics covered include:
- Introduction to First Aid: Understanding the basics of first aid and its importance
- Calling for Help: Learning how to call emergency services and what information to provide
- CPR Basics: Introduction to Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) using child-friendly techniques
- Dealing with Choking: Recognizing and responding to choking incidents
- Treating Minor Injuries: Basic treatment for cuts, grazes, and minor burns
- Staying Safe: Understanding how to keep themselves safe while helping others
The course uses interactive activities and hands-on practice to make learning enjoyable and memorable.
By the end of the course, children gain confidence and knowledge in handling common first aid situations, fostering a sense of responsibility and readiness to assist in emergencies
