Paediatric First Aid training is specifically tailored to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to respond effectively to medical emergencies involving infants and children.
This comprehensive training covers a wide range of topics, including CPR techniques for infants and children, choking management, recognising and responding to allergic reactions, treating burns, fractures and other common childhood injuries and illness.
Candidates will learn how to assess and manage acute onset conditions and illnesses such as seizures and asthma attacks in paediatric patients.
The course emphasises the importance of creating a safe and child-friendly environment and provides guidance on communicating with both the child and their parents or guardians during emergencies.
